A.D.I.M.

Let’s start with the basics — what is your startup, and how would you describe what you do in one or two sentences?

A.D.I.M. is a next-generation automation platform that blends lightweight infrastructure with adaptive intelligence. Our goal is to help companies turn fragmented digital processes into seamless, self-optimizing workflows.

How did the idea originate? What problem did you see that made you decide to build this?

The idea came from noticing how many teams drown in repetitive operational tasks. Every company starts by building tools to move data from A to B, but over time these patches become a labyrinth. We wanted to create a system that handles complexity without becoming complex itself.

Tell us the founding story. How did the team come together, and how did the company’s journey begin?

Our founding team met through a mix of coincidence and frustration. Each of us had struggled with automation at scale in previous roles. During a late-night conversation in Kaunas, we realized we were all trying to solve the same underlying problem — so we decided to tackle it together.

What makes your approach or product different from others in your field? What is your edge?

A.D.I.M. focuses on “adaptive minimalism.” Instead of building heavy platforms, we build smart, modular tools that learn from real-world usage. Our system grows with the company, not the other way around.

Where are you today in terms of development, customers, traction, or milestones?

We’ve built a functional core platform, onboarded our first pilot users, and validated several core automation use-cases. Although still early, we’re seeing consistent engagement and encouraging feedback from our test environments.

Why Kaunas? What made you choose to build here, and how does the city influence your work?

Kaunas has the perfect balance of talent, affordability, and momentum. The city is big enough to support ambitious ideas, but small enough that innovation feels personal and community-driven. It gives us space to build without noise.

What impact do you hope to create — in Lithuania, the EU, or globally?

We want to lower the barrier to automation everywhere. For small companies, automation is survival; for large companies, it’s optimization. A.D.I.M. aims to make both accessible through simple, scalable tooling.

What’s next for you? What are the next steps, upcoming launches, or goals you’re working toward?

Our short-term focus is expanding the beta and refining the adaptive engine. Longer-term, we aim to launch a public version with broader integration support and a clear roadmap for EU-wide expansion.

What has been your biggest challenge so far, and what have you learned from it?

The hardest part has been balancing vision with execution. We learned that building an automation engine is as much about restraint as ambition — simplifying is harder than adding features.

How do you see your industry changing in the next few years, especially with AI and new technologies emerging?

Automation will shift from rules-based to intent-based. Instead of scripting behavior, companies will describe outcomes and systems like ours will figure out how to get there. AI is rewriting the definition of “operations.”

If someone reads this article years from now, what do you hope they’ll remember about your startup?

That A.D.I.M. was built with clarity: simple tools, smart learning, and a belief that technology should adapt to people, not drag them along.
